IMPROVED PUBLIC TRANSPORT

"VEHICLE FOR IMPROVED PUBLIC TRANSPORT"

The collective passenger transport vehicle described in this invention provides an innovative solution to prevent fraud related to ticket validation or the presence of invalid tickets. The vehicle is equipped with a selective passenger locking system, consisting of a selective locking device placed between the vehicle's doors and the interior environment where passengers take their seats.

The selective locking device can switch between a configuration that prevents passenger transit and a configuration that allows passenger transit. This means that to access the vehicle's interior environment, passengers must pass through the selective locking device, which will only be activated if their ticket has been correctly validated.

The vehicle also has validation means to detect passenger ticket information and sensor means to detect the number of passengers passing through the selective locking device. An electronic unit controls the system's operation, acquiring information from the validation means and sensor means and commanding the switching of the selective locking device.

During vehicle use, passengers validate their tickets through the validation means. If a ticket is valid, visual and/or auditory signaling means emit a signal of correct validation to inform other passengers. If a ticket is invalid, a signal of incorrect validation is emitted. The reading device can recognize those with monthly or longer-term cards, as well as individuals with disabilities.

The electronic unit records the number of correctly validated tickets, and once it reaches the number corresponding to the number of passengers passing through the selective locking device, it commands the switching of the device from the second to the first configuration, allowing passengers to exit the vehicle.

The vehicle may also be equipped with buttons to allow passengers to indicate their intention to disembark. In this case, the electronic unit records the number of passengers who want to disembark and, once this number is reached, commands the switching of the selective locking device to allow them to exit.

The use of this vehicle offers numerous advantages, such as eliminating fraud related to invalid or unvalidated tickets, saving costs associated with fixed controllers, and reducing human errors. Furthermore, the system allows transport companies to recover substantial sums of money lost due to fraud.

In conclusion, the collective passenger transport vehicle described offers an innovative solution to prevent fraud related to invalid or unvalidated tickets. The selective locking system, controlled by an electronic unit, ensures that only passengers with valid tickets can access the vehicle's interior environment. This system results in greater efficiency and cost-effectiveness for transport companies and provides enhanced safety for passengers.
